Turkey in July

Well to do something different for the 4th of July weekend, I fired up the egg and invited the family over for a turkey dinner. Did a 13 lb bird. Rubbed it down with butter, sprinkled with poultry seasoning. Mixed up a little salt, pepper, fresh rosemary, thyme & basil (from the herb garden) and rubbed that all over the turkey. Placed in foil pan with 3 cups of chicken stock and 1 cup white wine. Smoked at 325 for about 3 1/2 hours. Took it off and wrapped it in foil and let it rest for 20 minutes. Great tasting turkey. Came out nice and moist.
