Gasket replacement

Any suggestions on the best gasket to get for a replacement?

  • I really like the new silver grey  BGE high heat gaskets. Mine seems to work like a charm and also seems to hold up under the heat of  dozens and dozens of  pizza cooks with out any signs of wear. I am sure their are other opinions but this is my humble 2 cents.

I've had great luck with the High Que gasket. I swear it looks like they provide BGE with their high heat now...looks exactly the same. Anyway, be sure and clean off all the old adhesive. Good luck.

One of my Rutlands is still a puppy at 9 years of regular use, but I can't tell how long it will last, but it still looks good to me!

    Rutland from RRP!

The DudeThis is a very complicated case, Maude. You know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-you's. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head. Luckily I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regimen to keep my mind, you know, limber.

??? Didn't you read the detailed 2 sided set of instructions I sent you in June in that box along with the gasket? If you pitched them then holler.

I bought the Rutland from RRP for all three of my eggs and I'm very happy. Installation was easy and I completed all three eggs gasket replacement in one afternoon. The recommended abrasive wheel was well worth the $10 I paid for it at Lowes.

Any road will take you there if you don't know where you're going.
