What sides should I do with brisket.I am going to attempt my first brisket tonight.

    beans, potato salad, cole slaw, mac & cheese, fried okra.

    of course, some will say, sliced white bread and pickles.

    Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.

    Have always done the cole slaw, potato salad, beans routine it seems but tomorrow will be having baked potatoes and bbq beans with burnt ends and Kreuz Market (Lockhart, Texas) sausage.

    Have been able to buy points from HEB lately. Tired of worrying about dry brisket, etc. Have found I can get wonderfully moist and favorable brisket by making the point into burnt ends.
