New Egger - Old Egg

Wanted to say hi to the BGE community. I got my first egg a couple of weeks ago. Cooked the standards - for me that's pork ribs, pork shoulder, chicken, and rib-eye steaks.  Results have been great.  Thanks to those of you that have been sharing your knowledge on this forum.  I have been going back through older posts and have picked up some tips that made my first cooks on my large BGE turn out well.

As you can see, my egg is older. I friend retired and is off to travel the country for the next couple of years. He decided to leave his egg behind with me.

I am definitely enjoying the journey so far. My first cook was this rib-eye. Slow cooked to 115F and then seared with the BGE blazing away!
