Fire ring differences

Help everybody... I have a XL Egg... And I noticed that my fire ring has the small cut outs..so that when I put my plate setter on top of the ring I only have about a 1/4 inch clearing.... I have seen some YouTube videos showing a larger cutout in the ring so that the plate setter sits down further to allow a bigger area between the plate and the grill...are there different styles out there...and where can I purchase a fire ring with the larger cut outs for the plate setter...Thanks for your comments....
