They just opened a pizzeria here in Peoria, IL. Their prices are noticeably out of whack in our market and the location they chose is in a neighborhood that won't be dropping $22 for their mere 13" pizza. Somebody didn't do much market research - that's for sure! I plan to try their noon buffet on Monday to get a feel for the taste and see why it apparently is so popular in Chicago.

That sounds really high. I would definitely be doing my own all the time with the BGE... Better and cheaper...

There are few pizzas I would pay that much for. Certainly not at a chain! And one I've never heard of at that.

Chris Bianco (Phoenix), Anthony Mangieri (San Francisco) and Dom Dimarco at DiFara's (Brooklyn) are the only three that come readily to mind. Bianco charges $15-$18, Mangieri charges $25 and Demarco gets $28-$38 for one of his masterpieces. I would pay those prices and thank them for the privilege. Not many more though.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

This from a guy who paid $5000 or whatever it was for an XXL? Did you get a kiss from Ardy before you got screwed?
    :))

Have you HAD a DiFara pie? I have. And would gladly do it again.

Cool! But even as a full tax write off as you say unless you are an extremely wealthy dude you probably are still just saving say" 33% in tax, but still costing you 67% of the purchase price. But if that tax angle works for you and the wife then go for it!!!
