How to store my XL for 5 weeks?

I will be out of the Country for the whole month of July and was wondering what was the best way to store my XL, I live in Michigan and last year I left for a month 2 different times and when I came back the inside of my egg looked like a cocoon full of mill dew/cob webs, both times I had cleaned the egg out completely and the second time I left the vents open but had the same results. I store the egg in my pole barn.

Air needs to circulate in the egg as a deterrent to the mold. I haven't had this problem thus far/ I keep mine on an open deck.

Buy some Morton Safe-T-Power ice melter (Calcium chloride - CaCl2) - it's cheap.  Put a couple pounds in a plastic bowl and put that in the egg.  Cover the egg with a lawn and leaf bag and cinch it closed.

The calcium chloride is a powerful desiccant and is non-toxic (used for pickling).  The bag keeps moisture from getting in the egg and the desiccant removes it from the egg.
