I see people on the forum say send me a PM but I don`t know what that is?

Check your profile and read the notifications. BTW if you have it set up to do so you will even get an email from the forum letting you know a PM has been posted.

Go to that persons' profile and click message.

When ya don't click the message button your message is public on that persons profile screen. See pic.

It took me a while to figure this out. I kept posting in the persons activity section(everyone can see) when I thought I was sending a PM. After you select/click on someone's avatar, select/click on the message box just above and right of their avatar. If a member doesn't have very much activity it's easy to just start typing in the activity section. Looks just like the add a comment section on a thread. @NPHuskerFL‌ got me straight. Luckily I got it figured out before I posted something I really didn't want someone else to see.
