Crap, err, Crack

Whoa, you may have looked at my post about In Law cooking. The LGBE and the XL have been hot all day since about 0900. Just now I was taking the final ribs off when I heard a very loud crack. I haven't tracked it down, everything is too hot for a thorough inspection. I am guessing my XL plate setter cracked. I can't see because it is foiled, and too hot to check.

Plate setter way better than the base. Crossing my fingers for you.
If it is the plate setter I've read of many folks fixing with high temp epoxy. Or the warranty. Or its a great excuse to get the AR!Pittsburgh, PA - 1 LBGE -

Guess this will be a mystery for the time being. Took both the Eggs apart and didn't find anything amiss. Sure was a loud, sharp sounding crack last night.

I had my plate setter crack in the egg the other week. Got it replaced, but regardless, it sucks.
