Looking for a great meal I can precook and serve hours later

Looking to make dinner for Father's Day tomorrow. I will be home during the day until 2:30 then we have to leave and will be home after 5:30. We would like to eat dinner at 6:30. do not want to cook pulled pork/ brisket and will not leave the egg lit when we are not home. Normally I hate leftovers so what can I cook earlier in the day and reheat later that will taste fresh like it came off the egg? The other option is getting plain steaks and cook them at 6:00 and get some sides to cook on the stove of microwave. Not a steak fan at home as the restaurants make them better.

My experience is most casseroles will fit the bill, in fact you can make them but not bake them and then toss it in the oven as soon as you get home and it should be ready in about an hour or less. Lasagne would be my choice.

One thing that comes to mind is ribs. You could smoke them ahead of time, then wrap and refrigerate. At dinner time you could throw them on the grill and sauce them. If you have a gasser you could just use that for the reheat stage, or just use the oven/broiler if you don't want to mess with lighting the egg.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Just made lasagna on the egg a few weeks ago. It was good too.
