just picked up a few racks of meaty spares that the butcher had cut about 1.25 inches long in strips. do these short spares cook the same as regular spares. tonights dinner

fishlessman,[p]When I trim the tips off my spare ribs, I find they cook in about 2 hours. Far faster than the full rack. "How to Grill" book has a Spare Rib Recipe that specifically indicates to place the tips on the smoker for about two hours.[p]Hope this helps.[p]BP in SD

these arent the trimmings of the spraes, they are actually strips of spare ribs, ive never seen them cut this way before
