Thinking about going to the Eggs on the Beach fest

It's in Destin Florida and it's on Sept 27th. I am only going as a taster not a cooker. Seems like fun and this will be my first Egg Fest. My question is have any of you been to an egg fests? If so, where they fun and do have any recommendations? Thanks guys!
