Well Fanny, seems like you are beginning to learn about 'reaping what you sow'.

From your post you stated that he threw up the night before and you posted this thread yesterday at 7:23pm. Unless you posted the times wrong that was almost a 24 hour period and throwing up a minimum of 4 times that you are aware of.

I wasn't trying to be condescending, sorry you took it that way.

I would take him to the vet. Don't listen to hacks on the internet :)

Took him this morning, just like I said last night I was going to do. Nothing wrong that they found.

Why are you even asking what to do here? Why isn't he at the vet already? Any pet owner worth his salts would take care of his pets in an expedited manner.

    Uncool dude. :-q
I have been with dogs most of my 42yrs and 20+ have been spent with one breed which I bred and trained for 15 or so years. It's not unusual for an animal to vomit especially if they eat grass etc or get into something. Clearly he cares or he wouldn't have posted to begin with. I offered suggestions and tips especially considering he feeds a raw diet. I'm sure a trip to the Vet is in the works. But, to put this in perspective. Do you rush to the hospital ER every time your tummy is upset and you vomit? Animals do occasionally go through this. And bland chicken and rice help like MANY suggested.

Thanks, appreciate it. I think something just bothered him. First night he vomited didn't think much because dogs do that sometimes. But he seems to be doing great now. Going to stick with just raw chicken a week or so before moving back to other meats.

@FanOfFanboys - great to hear your 4-legged friend is doing good with no serious problems. Like I mentioned in my earlier post - watch what he might be getting in to outside. Might have just eaten something in the yard that made him sick. Cheers!

Watch out for toads! My dog has tried to eat them twice now! You think she would have learned after the first one. They won't eat them because the first taste is so bad but they get a foamy mouth and puke all over the place!!

And, it can be FATAL! Never heard of this before.

Not sure where these things live, but I hope they don't like New England winters!

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Hopefully everything turns out ok. I got lucky with my dogn whenever he gets sick he does it on the hardwood or the kitchen floor. I dont think he has ever thrown up on the carpet. Not sure why he does it but I am ok with it. Good luck with your dog, let us know howw it turns out

My dog eats lizards.  She is a rescue but I think she is part Jack Russel or similar terrier breed.  I googled and found this is not uncommon for this breed.  She does regurgitate lizard corpses on occasion.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

@SmokeyPitt‌ Yep I had a Malinois that would methodically hunt down and destroy all lizards. Unfortunately Skinks make a pup pretty ill. (not to be confused with skanks). :))

Our cats catch and drag lizards into the house for painful sadistic deaths.  Found them with a mouse a couple days ago....still don't know what happened to it but it smells fine, and I looked everywhere.

The lizard thing is a daily event from spring through fall.  Just have to put up with it, they are lovable killing machines.
