The best dog we ever had growing up was a German Shepherd that we paid $10.00 for at the local pound. 

A lot of times rescues and strays make the best pets.

all kidding aside I have a friend who lives on a busy street whereby the rear of her condo is visible. She covers her egg with a cheap Weber cover. seems to work for her as other people have had stuff swiped!

No kidding.  I am thinking of putting a LBGE in my summer cottage and it will be able to be partially seen from the road.  No way I was planning on the BGE Green cover.  It will be  a black Weber kettle grill cover.  Too bad I couldn't find a Charmglow cover that fit.

If you can get that beast off a 8'H double deck and down the stairs without getting bit, beat or shot then you'll have to get by my neighbors whom have all grown fond of eating our egged food (and they're all itching to have an opportunity to target practice-- as long as they don't hit my egg or table). )

If somebody is determined to steal it they will. When my brother was stationed at the Embassy in Panama, he had an old Weber stolen. He had just taken the steaks into the house, and when he came back out the grill was gone. The hot coals were dumped on the OTHER side of a 10 foot fence.

I also have a laser/flashlight attachment, but it doesn't fit in the holster so I usually leave it off.

Having been detached in Panama for a short period that doesn't surprise me in the least. Our HMMWV was procured from us one night. When it was relocated the axle and transfercase were a total loss. I was the last to get to drive her around on that DET.

@NPHuskerFL - Beautiful craftsmanship.  I considered finding a holster to handle the accessory, but I really never wear my holster, except during those rare times like post hurricane where there's a little more chaos in the city.
