First Thermapen!

Happy B-day to me.....well, shortly, anyway! Couldn't figure out what I needed, actually not much of anything. I got my two eggs, I've gotten the camera(s) and lenses I wanted. Frankly, B-day gifts for myself aren't that high on my priority list, probably close to the bottom.

Voila!!! Got an email from thermoworks about a thermapen sale for $85. Didn't take long to pull the trigger on a red. Can't wait to get it!

Great gift. Happy Birthday to you. The red is great, but the green is faster.

Well the Green and the Orange are faster. Maybe you can send it back and get a faster color =))

Saw that email. I would have picked the red over the black too.

I couldn't decide between green or red (Ga Bulldog Red). Jaime surprised me with a green to match the egg. You'll love the pen. Great bday gift. HBD!

Happy Birthday!!! :-) My kick @$$ SWMBO bought me my "Husker Red" (Scarlet ;-) ) Thermapen w/ glow in the dark magnetic silicone boot and leather case for my Birthday last month. I use mine almost daily for whether it be for egging or at work. It is perfect for egging and absolutely awesome when I'm temping product at work (ice cream, etc) after repairs are complete to log accurate info on my write ups. It is dead accurate within less than .02 of a degree (and at low temps it's even more critical it is this accurate). IMHO it's an excellent product to own.

Yup! The thermapen is by far the most crucial piece I own when it comes to cooking. I would be lost without it

I just got one this year and can't believe how I got along without one for so long. You will love it.

Haha-You might be surprised....people have been cooking for years....decades, centuries, eons without technology like this. Art, not science. If you're turning out great food without you're already there! Meat, heat, and a desire to create are the most crucial elements of cooking, not some piece of always-soon-to-be-obsolete electronics (in my opinion) Have fun, and eat well!
