I'm just curious about the new Forum. Looks interesting but I won't know until I try it. First things first, here's a picture I took this morning.

I've tried twice to post a photo and both times it got kicked out because the photo is supposed to be in alpha/numeric. Mine are, or at least I think they are. I can't think of what other choices I would have. Meanwhile, I will try again. Also, the preview button will not work.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Leroy,
We'll be working on the image upload and link features soon. Shouldn't really need to be sensative to the file name, but, out of the box, it appears to be.
There's no reason it can't be a simple as any of the other third-party photobuckets out there.
We just need a little time to get to it.
I'll to to post one too...
I have to agree. It's not obvious how to do it. Here goes....

How big is yours? I'll check the limit.

It took me a couple of tries. You have to put the [img]thingy in somewhere; and, the image has to be < 200K right now. Not sure about name limitations yet.<br><br>Post edited by: dmiller, at: 2005/05/26 02:04[/img]

I tried to edit my first post. After the second try (rejected because of (medium) in the picture name)at editing I had to reply to the "bad" post to get the picture to show.
Possible issue for the webmaster to sort out.

I remember that photo. Hard to believe because I was selecting which shorts and T-Shirt to wear that day.

Now I will try again to post a photo after re-naming my photo file to eliminate blank spaces. Hopefully, this one will show.

Hummmmmm!!! Still didn't work. Can't figure it out. Let's see if I select a photo directly from my camera storage.

I use a site called photo bucket. http://www.photobucket.com
I then upload my pictures there that I want to post. Then when I what to post, under the pictures there are three types of html tags to use. I then copy the IMG tag and paste it into here and it works fine.

Stumped once again. I keep getting a message saying only alphanumeric characters can be used with no spaces in between or something like that. The first one's I posted probably had some spaces but I know the others did not. And if I understand "alphanumeric" correctly, that covers just about ever key on the keyboard.

So I will keep trying.

I've tried using SnapFish, the photo service I use on the other Forum but I can't even get my message to post.

I'll wait around until the bugs are worked out.
