Soldier, rest! Thy warfare o'er,
Sleep the sleep that knows not breaking,
Dream of battled fields no more.
Days of danger, nights of waking.-Sir Walter Scott
Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.
-John F. Kennedy
Future years will never know the seething hell and the black infernal background, the countless minor scenes and interiors of the secession war; and it is best they should not. The real war will never get in the books.

At the end of that video...
"Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once for a people. Those who have known freedom, and then lost it, have never known it again."
--Ronald Reagan

I started about 3:00pm yesterday, and pulled it about 9:30, temp dropped in egg early this morning and this delayed the cook about an hour. If you plan on 1.5hrs per pound, and start checking temps about two hours before expected finish time.Corpus Christi, Texas. LBGE x 2, Weber Smoky Joe, and Aussie Walk-About
