  • Its an honor and a privilege to serve those who keep us safe and free.  I was unable to joint the armed services to to back and vision issues from football.  I figure its the least I can do.  WWP is a great organization and I am proud to help them out.

We need more people like you. Thanks for your service . Anything helps
  • The man came out up front and said who he was and what his intention was. This was his first post. Let's get our panties out of a bunch and give him a shot. IMHO
  • Posh, (sorry couldn't find your name.) You mentioned you made pizza awhile back and it was terrible. Have you tried again? I made it this past Sunday and was not impressed. I even did it at 60F for 10 minutes on a pizza stone on top the placesetter.  Any comments are appreciated.

I did use a premade crust from Costco. (Crust only)

    Thanks in advance, Mike

FYI- this original post is from May 2014.  Not sure if Posh is still posting...

@SanDiegoMike - start a new discussion.  There are plenty of pizza eggsperts who will jump in and help.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Well, we have a pizza stone now so the pizzas are great! I hate to admit this, though. I'd still rather order Papa Johns any day. I love my Egg by, I mean come on... It's Papa Johns!
What is this? A center for ants!?

@PoshPatios‌ and @SanDiegoMike‌, I just did pizza for the first time this Sunday and it was a big hit. I made two different types crust with 3 pizza's out of each. Check out my post I have attached. I used "00" only for one and a combo of "00" and bread dough. We liked the "00" the best and it can be made the same day. http://eggheadforum.com/discussion/1176133/first-time-doing-pizza-pic-heavy#latest

  • Thanks Ladeback - will give that a shot. On mine the cheese melted real nic and the top crust browned a bit and was crunchy, but the bottom did not. We are also going to try and make crust the next time.
  • Some beautiful tables.  i built my last one 6 years ago.  they have become more sophisticated now.

  • My friend just built this table out of cedar for me. It's not quite finished as the casters and side doors still need to be installed. I'm likely going to install granite for the top. Has anyone had issues before with granite and heat? The narrowest cut around the egg to the end of the table will be 5.5". How hot does the external surface of the egg get below the lid surface?
