I will never forget the Outback Bowl where Clowney just annihilated Vincent Smith.  I don't know how he got up after that.  It still pains me to watch it!

plumbfir01  No, I didn't know that at all.  I don't remember this being said during the game.  I am not trying to "dis" the guy, I think he could be a game changer for sure, but all I hear are the press releases about his work ethic and what not.  We will see how well he does here soon.

@Chris_Wang, yes both were sweet.  I was at the UNC vs. NCSU game where they came out practicing with their regular helmets, went to the locker room and came out with chrome helmest with UNC blue foot on the side.  Truly awesome!

I know what you mean...not picking on you but so many just hear and read all this media BS and it is so far from the truth. Anyway, he will make a fine pro. Seems like a happy go lucky kid too. Very humble and eager to please folks. Will be fun to watch at Houston.

Scheme wise he does not match up with Houston. But his natural talent and having JJ Watts push him he should still be a high impact player. 

The complaint, which is valid but taken out of context, is he does not have same work ethic that matches Lattimore, Shaw, etc. So he is not lazy but he also does not go as hard as he could. Lorenzo said he went about 70% and would like to see him go about 80%.

If you think of 'elite' guys that is not a comment made about them. That is what you hear about guys like Randy Moss, not Jerry Rice. That going above is difference between good and elite. 

With what was avail Texans made best pick. Trading did not seem like a worthy option and no QB from this draft worth top 10 pick. 

With rookie wage scale taking a guy like Clowney #1 is much less risky than few years ago. I think Texans will be just fine with the pick. I wish they would have picked Murray in the 5th instead of Chiefs. Would have been a good fit. But if they can get Carr will still be ok though I am not sure they do that with their history.

Texans are a team that could easily jump back to 10+ wins this season with right moves and some luck. 

And speaking of Peppers I think he will have a solid year where he contributes.Packers could use it on D.

Well with those two picks in round 6 Texans have decided they are not drafting a QB at all. Interesting.

The raiders took Carr in the second, in addition to trading for Shuab which leaves Matt Mcgloin kinda in limbo. The only reason Mcgloin is in the NFL is because of O'brian. I'm hoping there's something in the works to get him to Houston.
