Ryan,
Very nice. The bottom edges aren't touching the wood
on the support section, are they? If so, lift it a bit
to get an air gap between ceramic and wood. Congrats
on the XL.
Chuck
-
GaDawg,[p]Nope, I've got about a 3/8" gap in between the wood and the egg. The wood is covering the concrete that the wood is actually sitting on...[p]Ryan

It's a fat little booger ain't it?
-
Ryan,[p]Ryan,[p]I don't see any reference to the XL...price or availability. How much is it?
-
BR,[p]I believe list is $999.99...
-
CB,[p]Yep! She's 26 1/2" wide. I love it. I can cook soooo much more at one time...[p]Ryan
-
Ryan,[p] Good. I scorched the bottom of my table real bad
before I got wise. You're way ahead of where I was.
Let us know how the cooks go.[p]Chuck
-
Ryan,
Looking forward to seeing it at full capacity.
Congrats
-
Ryan,
Is that a fairway back there? Either way, can I come over and play some golf and eat something off your new egg?[p]Seriously nice set up.[p]-William
-
Ryan, Could you post the dimensions of your table. I haven't got my xlbge yet, but one is on the way. I would like to have the table built before it gets her.
-
Ryan, what kind of wood did you use for that? Also, is that marble, slate, or some other kind of stone on the table top? Where did you get it?
-
vr6Cop,[p]It's just regular pressure treated lumber. It's marble on top of the table. I used to have tile, but I like the marble better. It cleans up easier. I bought it from a kitchen outlet store...[p]Ryan
-
steelman,[p]The top is 34X60 and it's 31" tall...[p]Ryan
-
WilliamH,[p]No, it's just my backyard...
[p]Thanks,[p]Ryan

Ryan, I too am the proud new owner of a new XL and am in the process of building a table to house my monster.Would you mind sending me your measurement from the top of your table to the top of your paver.I have not assembeled mine as of yet because to be honest I'm not sure even with my 15 yr. old sons help we could move it into position without a mishap "OUCH". Also did this highth give the spring hinge enough room to move. Thanks for your help and any advice you can lend to help out a newbie to the wonderful world of "egging" Would be greatly appreciated. Gonna be a smokin'weekend in McDonough Ga. Dave

Ryan,[p]Looks like what my 60" TV screen looks like in stretch mode.
