Benefits of working from home
I was working from home today, which gave me an opportunity to try to egg something new on the egg. I had 4 beef country style ribs, rubbed two with DP red eye and two with just salt and pepper.
Got the egg settled in around 240, added some oak chips, and put them on top of the grill extender. Added some Natty Boh that my father in law didn't drink while my inlaws were house sitting (and I'm never going to drink).

Because if I'm gonna have a beer I'm going to go for something like this:
I've been a beer snob since I was a broke college student. Now that I can afford good beer, I'm definitely not going back.LBGE

I see you're a homer tooI have one of these at home. Perhaps I will enjoy it tonight...

Absolutely, when possible I do stick to Maine and Maryland brews. The Curieux is very good, have you had it before? I tend to go for the Allagash Black more, but pretty much anything Allagash makes is worth drinking.Eggcelsior said:I see you're a homer too

Yes and yes. And yes... Everything you said. I tend to stick to MD/DE and New England brewers.

If you you hit up Pickles before an O's game, 2/$2 Boh is hard to beat.

I love Allagash White. There's a few bars local to me that have it on tap.Acn said:Because if I'm gonna have a beer I'm going to go for something like this:

Just to bring closure to the thread, here they are off the egg. No plated pics, just served with cheddar grits and peas. They were very tasty, and nice to do something different than a braised beef rib.
