Ash Dragon Kamado Charcoal Grill Grate / Divider for the LBGE?

Anyone used the Ash Dragon Kamado Charcoal Grill Grate / Divider for the LBGE?

How does the Ash Dragon charcoal grate part perform versus the standard LBGE grate or versus the High-Que 9" charcoal grate?

Thanks for any input.

Just bought one and it arrived today!  I actually got the "Deluxe" version that has positions for 1/4, 1/2 or 3/4 firebox.

I have a "red headed stepchild" (in addition to my MiniBGE) and will be trying it this weekend with a CGS Large Rig.

Looks pretty good quality and can't wait to try it out.  Seems based on all the larger holes in the grate that airflow will be a LOT better than the stock grate. Will let you guys know but I'm hoping it will cut my lump consumption at least in half..

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Bumping this thread.. Has anyone used the Ash Dragon yet? I like the flexibility of this and being able to use 1/4 - wide open with the dividers, at least in theory. Also curious how it would perform next to the High Que grate.. From the pictures it doesn't look like it would lose as much of the small lump but that might hurt the air flow also.

Really need some real world usage results!!

Don't have one and never will. Especially for $80!! First of all, there is no need to divide the firebox. If you want better airflow, get the hi que. Me? I've had the OEM grate for 5 years now. Works fine, though it's starting to deteriorate.

Ash dragon is the result of someone trying to think of a way to make your money his. Nothing more.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
