It was a 5 out of 10. Even my wife said it sucked (she's had nothing but top notch brisket for years).

I choked it down too much when I left and it died. Took too long to get going and dried out. Poo poo

The knife cut great. No need for an electric as that thing cuts better and is cheaper.

Cool improvisation. Sorry to hear about the brisky. I would probably;y still like it though, since my standards are lower.

I rigged something like that up occasionally with a laptop camera and my phone using join.me - worked great for peeking at temps from afar.
