Man those brats are quick, easy, and good

Hot, sweaty day out there. Tons of humidity and I'm low on inspiration. Spent ALL day yesterday and all this morning cleaning out my bookcases and my software closet. Lord. Calendar Magic to run on Windows 3.1. Man, that's useful. Threw out enough routers to last a lifetime. Found my missing wireless router (already bought a replacement). So for lunch, something quick and easy. Fired up the mini and threw on those Johnsonville Beef Brats. Put some killer hot mustard on there and a side of hot peppers. Even more reason to sweat. Smiled at the mini and she smiled back. A good day.[p]mShark

<p />Mollyshark,[p]Those Johnsonville Beef Brats are a favorite on our annual Man Trips. The Mini does them just right, too.[p]Muggy down here in Houston as well,[p]TRex

    Mollyshark,
What temp and time are you doing the brats at? I just got me Mini out of storage last weekend--long story, recovering from surgery--and I'm looking to put that baby through the paces. Thanks.

MIchael L,[p]You know, I've done them at 350 and I've done em at 450! Come out fine either way. This group was around 400. Just make sure you turn them often because they burn quick. Do them direct, nothing fancy. Just enough to make them blister, a little black here and there, and hot. The mini is perfect for it. Enjoy yours!![p]mShark

    Mollyshark,
Thanks. I've already learned from experience that frequent turning is needed on the Mini. It is a cauldron, isn't it? I know you've said before that the Mini is your "desert-island" choice. I'll tell you that in the past week I've done some nice cooks. And boy does it heat up fast. Any other tips would be appreciated. Thanks again.
