From The River To The Egg

Options
On a spring break camping trip, my son and I caught some rainbow trout. I prepared them at the campsite on the river. The recipe I used came from the show "Primal Grill". The trout are cleaned and scaled and laid on three pieces of butcher string with a piece of prosciutto on each side of each trout. Inside each trout goes dill, lemon wedges, salt ,pepper and olive oil (salt, pepper and olive oil outside as well). They are then tied up.They go 7 min per side raised direct at 350. There is a very good dill sauce that is included in the recipe. I am not a big trout fan, but these were the best I have had. I haven't posted in some time , but I wanted to share this.imageimageimageimage
