Two First Cooks

I had two first this weekend.I cooked a butt this weekend . I have always been a low and slow man. But for it to be ready at the time we wanted to eat it would have had to go on at midnight. So, My first turbo. I really couldn't tell the difference, except for time. My second first was Ozark Oak. I can see what all the fuss is about. That is some good stuff. Quick light and low smoke, sweet smelling. It is made here in my home state of Arkansas in the northern part, but is had to find in the southern part where I live. Went north last weekend and picked up 4 bags. I will stock up on it now that I know how good it is. No pictures, had a hungry bunch.

Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.

Welcome aboard and the reason OO is hard to find in Arkansas is because @henapple scarfs it all up and smuggles it into TN. :)
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.
