Aiken's horsin' and hoggin'

So as I'm always the last to know, there was a bbq competition in Aiken today. I made it for the end anyways. I probably looked pretty funny in my dirty work clothes walking around inspecting all the smokers. Most were rf langs or cabinet smokers. One uds and yup, one egg. Oh and a primo mounted to the front of a trailer. I didn't stick around to see who won but it was pretty cool to see that many people that have such a passion for smoking all in one place.

My father frequented a bar that was owned by a Sam. But that was years ago, I think the bar is now closed.

The Sam I know in Aiken frequented many a bar but didn't own any. Many a good time with him during Masters week.
