Putting a 10 lb butt on in the am. Was curious if everyone places the fat cap up or down. Hoping this turns out great to avoid having to get up so early. Please share any additional advice to a Turbo Rookie. Cheers

My last three butts were done with fat cap down. Came out great but I don't see a real difference between the two. It did clean up nicer that's for sure. Good luckLBGE& SBGE———————————————•———————– Pennsylvania / poconos

Personally I always trim my fat cap practically off but just the same that former fat cap side goes on top. I'm not even sure it makes any difference though!Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

I don't think it makes a difference on the egg... But I typically do fat cap up. No reason why, just do...
