Do you have dog(s)? Our family has shared our lives and home with several pups over the years...we have had Belgian Malinois' for over 20 yrs now and can't imagine life without them. Here's our Lili Ann. How about y'all? Particular to a breed, do you work them, are they eggheads? ^~^ ;-)

*The wifey is out of town so I'm letting him crash on the bed. No lie, this dude is laid out with his head on the pillow and is snoring twice as loud as my wife. Lol

@plumbfir01‌...Awesome rescues! Our Lili Ann is a Rescue that rescued our family :-D. A group named American Belgian Malinois Club Rescue and multiple volunteers helped save her. This is the first photo we got of her living behind a Home Depot in Homestead FL (she had "just" had pups but, the rescuers said the bad people that dumped her likely stole her babies from her then dumped her...what kind of ass clown does that?!). Anyway she started life out rough but, she's a bit of a diva now. :-)

looks like my old german shepard dog root.  my insurance went way up one year because a site visit that saw the german shepard, i told them it was a belgian malinois and they were ok with that

for a couple hundred in plane fare you can have one flown in and use the shipping box for a few months as a training crate. i figure with the expense of the dog its a nobrainer to buy from the right place and spend the little extra to fly it in

@pantsypants‌...that YouTube video was funny. We play hide and seek all the time with different objects (not food related). She finds it all. If I had more time I would train her for cadaver search and regular search and rescue. I've had several multipurpose dogs over the years.

Here's Max - my (just turned) 11 year old Walker Hound. He loves to hover around the egg when I cook and always whines after dinner to go back outside and check for anything that might have fallen. 

His absolute favorite thing to do is look out the window and watch any and everything that goes by. He's known for voicing his opinion of the neighbor dogs when they're out on a walk - you can hear the howling from a mile away.

Speaking of howling - he loves to sing along when I play guitar. Here he is singing "Amazing Grace":

@fishlessman‌ +1 on shipping in. My 3rd Malinois was shipped in for me from Holland from KNPV lines. He was already titled KNPV PH1 Met Lof and PH2 Met Lof. He was an amazing boy! RIP Rinco.
@fishlessman‌ about a decade ago before anybody in the States had really heard of a Belgian Malinois we had an insurance guy try to jack our rates up. At that time we had 4 Malinois and the rocket scientist tried to classify them as GSD! I hate people that condemn breeds! When I told him what breed they were with paperwork they backed off. I am a VERY responsible dog owner (we have a double fence and invisible fence (more for my dogs protection than people's). Unfortunately for several different breeds that have had bad owners do bad things and now a lot of folks tend to prejudge those specific breeds and that is WRONG!

Here's Wiley - no, not Wile Coyote, named after Wiley Post.  He is my trusted copilot and constant companion.  He has thousands of flight time hours.  He's 12 now, and still a puppy at heart.  He takes me for a walk every morning, and is at my feet as I make this post.

We have been owned by Westies now for years. Here's numbers 4 & 5. We lost #4 a couple years back and that lost still brings a tear to our eyes and another hug to #5!

@RRP‌ Ron that's awesome! This is our 5th Malinois likewise. The brother and sister we had from the very last litter we had passed close to one year apart from one another at 15/16 yrs old. They have all brought great joy into our lives. @gpsegg‌ yep looks like ya got a couple of bonafide eggers there :-). Our girl is always willing to taste test/sample. :-)

We have miniature Daschunds.  Great dogs with a lot of personality. Lucy is the brown/red and Painter is the piebald trying to get his ball through the glass.  I don't think they make a toy these dogs can't destroy.
