First High Heat Cook on my new Large Big Green Egg:

Did two pizzas tonight, one was a converted salad my wife makes with pear, shallots, red onion, candied walnuts, and a dressing with apple cider vinegar and dry mustard. The other was a family standard fresh tomato, basil, red onion, black olive, and  garlic olive oil. The egg performed perfectly. I cooked the pizzas between 550 and 600. Got there quickly and held temp with no trouble. Here are some pics, and the recipe for the pear pizza, It is really very good.
