I was bored and happened to come up with a new creation. It's a whiskey glazed burger that is stuffed with cheese, then smoked on a cedar plank that was soaked in Jack Daniels! Holy crap!!!

Wow, great picture - looks tasty and I love the JD glaze idea.  

Now for the whole Juicy Lucy thing.  I am not trying to be a downer, but I never really understood the "cheese stuffed burger" idea.  Seems like it could be super messy. Does it help keep the burger moist or what are the advantages compared to a nice thick slice on the top?

This burger was actually inspired by a friend. She was competing in a friendly burger contest and asked me for input. One thing led to another and things started to snowball! This recipe is the result! Her burger, The Boss, won 2nd place, but I made some slight mods to mine that KILLED IT!!
