Leftover Brisket Cook

Had lots of leftover brisket from last weekend. Decided to try something different. Philly cheesesteak stuffed peppers. I'll post more pics after they are finished.

This was super easy. I diced up some peppers and onions and sautéed them in the CI skillet. After the onions began to caramelize I threw in some brisket that I chopped up and let it cook for 15 minutes or so. While that was cooking I halved and gutted the peppers. Stuck them on the half moon grid indirect at 450 for about 30 minutes. Topped with cheese for the last 2 minutes and served.
The next time I'll throw some mushrooms in the pan. I think I'll also top with croutons while the peppers are baking.Mark Annville, PA -
