Wondering if any one has issues or solutions on here. Our foodsaver only sucks half the air out at times before trying to seal. Its very frustrating.

    I have the upright model and I butt my thick cutting board up next to the foodsaver and this seems to help. Gives a flat surface for the machine to do the job. ;;)

    I'll try that. The wife said she thought it was working a bit better when she supported it level with the insert. I will be trying that next time. Thanks. Hope that's the issue. It's still new.
