The table measures 72 in.wide by 40 in.deep. The wood I used was construction grade dauglas fir 2x8 planned and cut to predetermined width to inlay between the frame w/ 1/8 inch spacing. Cut grooves in the bottom of the boards 1 inch apart by 1/4 deep to prevent them from cupping,table will be outdoors on the deck, 7 coats of marine spare varnish about a month to build, didn't work on it every day. Have a snow plow business took up a little extra time this year.
