Anyone go to trader joe's that opened in Tampa?

Wondering if they carry brisket there and what fda grade and for how much. They are closed now of course otherwise I'd call.

    yzzi Just an FYI. Trader Joe's started here in SoCal I believe in the early 70's. They are not a supermarket. It's a great store but your not going to find a whole brisket there. Their products are high quality but pretty specialized.

    Thanks td, it's been a few years since I've been to one. I thought they carried meat. Oh well. I gotta stop in soon though.

    They do carry meat, but they don't have a full butcher and might not have every cut of meat you'd be looking for.  I have seen brisket, flat only, at mine seasonally, but not as a regular item.  One thing I did notice yesterday when I was in is that they now have plain tri-tip; I had only seen already marinated tri-tip there.

    Their store managers are given pretty big leeway to decide what they'll have in store, and if it isn't moving they'll stop carrying it quickly.  You'll find things you like there, but it won't replace your regular grocery store.
