KBS is great, but probably a little overhyped. I had one bottle last year, thought it was overhyped. I had one that was about a year old about a month ago, and I liked it a lot more. I got four more this week, drank the one, will age the others for a year or two. I also wanted to compare it to the Weyerbacher Sunday Morning Stout. KBS was more chocolatey, Sunday Morning Stout (which is easier to find, and cheaper) is a little more boozy. I am not sure which I like more between the two (at least when they aren't aged).flyer_egger said:ADS - Envious... how was the KBS?Large BGE, Mini BGEMorgantown, PA -

Had an invite to a friend and family's soft opening to Taft's Ale House here in Cincinnati. A good buddy of mine is a brewer there. Absolutely beautiful building and the beers are even better. Great night. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

Had a cocktail on tap at Wonderland - the Hitchhike; bourbon, earl grey, pickled peaches, ginger and mint. Damn good. Going out to a bourbon bar, may need to spring for a glass of Pappy 23 year old for the Mrs and I.
