    Hairline cracks or deep cracks in the ceramic? If you bought new and have a warranty don't sweat it either way.

    My small egg had the green porcelain flaking off everywhere on the dome. Was a warranty claim. Haven't taken it apart to put new one on yet. But I have the new dome waiting for when I do.
