What to do with the chain meat from a beef tenderloin?

I was thinking of just making some great hamburger steaks with it and the small ends of the tenderloin. Is that a waste? Also is a chateaubriand roast the best thing to make out of the head?

I like to make stroganoff and beef barley soup with the end pieces.

We typically use it for beef stew.

I typically save it (vacuum seal) and use for Kabob meat after going through several tenderloins.
