Pork Belly price/lb???

How much are you guys paying per pound of pork belly?  I have only bought it once and I think it was $6.95 per pound.  Seems like I got ripped.

3.99 skin on  compared to 2.49-2.99 boston butt, 4.99-5.99 brisket, 1.99-3.99 ribs

Currently 2.59, skin on at an Asian grocery. Irregular sizes. Were about .50 cheaper last year.

Just like anything else, you by what they have done to it. Boneless, skinless, trimmed, etc.

I paid a similar price my first belly purchase.  It was pretty.  

Since then I found an Asian grocery that sells for $2.75/lb with skin on.  I got 10 pounds (came in a few different chunks) from the Asian store, and I swear it must have had a dozen big nipples!   End result was good.

Nashville, TN area butcher shop $4 pound. Anyone around the area find them cheaper? Time to cure more belly into bacon!
