Had some nasty dental work done this morning. I stopped at a local Tandoori place I've been frequenting lately for a veg thali. They have tandoori quail by the bird so I ordered one. Wow!

Is that the neck?   You could just make quail necks and tell people they are onion rings.

Pretty cool. Quail and partridge are eaten in the Northern half of India. Every once in awhile you see it on a menu here.
