Roasted Chickpeas

OK, could probably do these on the BGE, but it would be more work for no particular advantage.  Canned peas, very well drained and dried as much as possible.  Roasted at 300 for 20 minutes, stirred around, and done for another 20 minutes.  Let cool a little, then dumped in a bowl and stirred with a little EVOO and whatever spices you want.  These are Wasabi, garlic, onion powders, and salt.  Then done at 400 until done.  Stirred around every once in awhile.

Watch them at the end, the go for crispy to scorched real fast.  A safe way is to get them close to crispy, then take them out overnight, then one lase 20 minute session in the oven.

They are not calorie free, but pretty good in every other way, and a darn sight better than some other snack choices.
