Cooking some butts for Sunday, but have to work. If I cook late Sat and take off about midnight, should I wrap in hdaf and put in cooler all the way till 5pm Sunday (17) hrs. or do I need to refrigerate and then reheat for 5pm Saturday. Which method gives you the freshest product. Thanks justin

Don't FTC it for 17 hours. It won't stay hot that long and you'll get in the danger zone for way too long. You are going to have to refrigerate and reheat

I would pull when they are finished cooking and then do the fridge and reheat when ready to eat. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
