Sausage Timing
I normally cook sausage at 300-350 degrees which makes it pretty simple to estimate the time. Tomorrow however I will be smoking it with ribs. Ribs will go on at 1pm indirect (220 grid temp with a guru) on a rib rack on the first grid, & I want to add 5lb's of assorted sausage on the rack above at some point. I believe the sausages will be roughly in the 240-250 degree range as they will be higher. The ribs will be done at 6pm. When would be the best time to put the sausage in so everything finishes at the same time? Thank you.

Zippy,[p]When I smoke bratwurst it takes about an hour at 250 before I pull it off. The brats are about 180 internal and a lot of fat is rendered out, but they are still tender and tasty.[p]Cheers,[p]GrillMeister
