Beef Ribs on the Small Egg
First try at beef ribs on my small egg today.. Put them on at about 9am this morning (with some chunks of cherry and hickory), hoping for them to finish around 3pm for you know what..
Had a little bit of issues getting these bad boys on my small egg, so cut the rack up in two pieces.. Also, they slightly overlap
Any thoughts on a rack that would have the ribs stand up on their side for the small egg?
Will let you know how things come out later

I have the bge rib rack for the small and it works good for it.

I'm sure they will turn out great. For a rack- one thought is to just use skewers to hold them vertically. Just push a couple of skewers through them and stand the ribs on the grid.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

That's alot of wood in my opinion especially with one type being hickory. Too much wood can produce a very bad taste. I would cut back to a medium sized piece of hickory and maybe 2 pieces of cherry.

Thanks for the pointers... Thinking about getting a V-rack for the next cook..Lit - Took some pieces out, first time cooking with hickory (this amount of cherry produced a good flavor before)
