Foodsaver bag alternative

I've been using a Foodsaver 3850 for a few years now and overall, it's provided good service. I did notice that I would run into inconsistent sealing with some rolls of Foodsaver brand bags. Just enough air would seep into the bag over time causing freezer burn. I was inclined to believe it was defective manufacturing of the roll as I was very deliberate in my sealing process.

On a whim, I purchased Vacstrip bags from VacMaster. Bottom line, they work GREAT. 10x better than the Foodsaver brand bags and they channel any food moisture with a secondary liner thus ensuring the seal is tight. I got 60 pre-made bags in 3 sizes for $20. The box says these work for all sealers. Your mileage may vary but they work beautifully for me.
