It is easy to reduce the size of pictures

I get frustrated when reading a post on my phone, and hit an image that is 3 MB or so - everything comes to a stop while it loads.  I am a Windows user, and if you open an image in Paint, you can click on resize in the menu bar.  In the box for percentage that says 100 (horizontal), enter 25, and Voila!  you have a file that is a fraction of the size.  I know Apple has something similar.

On the other hand if I am the only one who gives a rip about this, you can tell me to go $%&! myself!

  • I post and do everything from an iPhone and all I can do is upload an image. It does not give me an option to resize it.
    Am I missing something?

No, If you do it all from the iPhone you are stuck as far as posting.  You can reduce the size when emailing or texting but that's pretty much it.  I know there are aps for photo editing, but I would not want to mess with that on the phone, definitely not for this anyways

I do not get large images on my pc, just images that are too small.  If I clicj on them then they are way too big and grainy.  If I really want to see one of those pics I just save the huge one to my computer, look at it then erase it.  I usually click on "insert image" when I post pics, I think it makes pics easier to see.
