@beteez  A buddy of mine gave me a bottle of that.  Haven't actually had a glass of it yet, just been using it for cooking.

@saluki2007 after checking this review, I would probably stick to cooking with it, but I guess you should sample because the reviewer may have a different palate.

What do you think about the finish? It seems like it disappears. Great taste. But it doesn't linger.

I tried it again the other night and I agree that the finish/aftertaste is very short.  One of my neighbors somehow got it for $6.  I am mainly going to use it for mixing.

I have tried a couple from this thread.  Woodford has always been my favorite but for value I enjoyed Very Old Barton and Rebel Yell. Fireball is a good one to mix with cranberry juice imo. Good thread, thanks!

No problem.  I might pick up some rebel yell for mixing as I can get it for under 10.

Still wishing I could find Very Old Barton!
