Got the idea off of kamadoguru forum for my table and made a few modifications. Egg will go in this week and the first cook this weekend (rain or shine!).

Thanks for the kind words everyone. First cook will probably be something relatively easy like a Boston butt. I used PT pine and Olympic Maximum stain.

My woodworking friends have told me to use cypress. I understand it is supposed to be the best for outdoor projects like this.....but just how much better and how much difference I could ever tell , I may never know !!!!!!I can't wait to get started and seeing my thoughts come to pass .Thanks all,Donie
