My wife bought this but it leaks. There is no visible crack but slowly leaks. I'm going to try it on the egg...Low temp only.

What is it? Stoneware? Perhaps it's really porous.

You sure it leaks or did you tip it when you were drinking the scotch you just picked up?

I'm not allowed to touch her pampered chef. It is stoneware. She's had pieces for years. Great stuff.

Says it's "virtually nonporous."

"Stoneware can be used in conventional, convection and microwave ovens, and is freezersafe. Stoneware is heat-resistant to 450°F (230°C). Do not use Stoneware under broiler or on direct heat source. Follow oven manufacturer's guidelines."

She has never had a problem. You can't see the crack at all.

Looks fairly new maybe she can get a replacement.
