With all the talk about them recently, I was curious who had what number.

#46 -  I bought it for my small very recently.  When it's not so friggin' cold, I'll take the side shelves off and install the small.  We transport the small in it's nest using in the mini van and its very top heavy and tippy.  The CARTen will lower the center of gravity and make it easier to move around.  You southerners might like the picture.  That's snow, not a pile of grits.

Oh, I already broke in the bottle opener!

When Scott sent out an email stating he had three ready for sale, I was #4 to reply.  :(  Fortunately, Scott said he had the metal cut for a fourth one which was just missing the handles.  He said he could get it finished shortly after the Holidays, so I jumped at the opportunity.

I'm looking forward to getting it.

Hey @Solson005 - Did you epoxy a rare earth magnet to your Carten? I like your cap catcher. BTW, 19 is one of my favorite numbers. It was Steve Yzerman's number on the Red Wings and the reason I included it in my handle. That and straight up fredflintstone was taken.

Fredit is a rare earth magnet, however I can't decide if I want it to be permanent or not. So I just taped it in this picture to see if it worked (which it worked great) 

Yzerman was one of my favorite players to watch as well. I decided to play defense and get good at it rather than fight for a starting position on the wing and #19 was taken. I went to the San Jose Sharks off-season camp and trained with Fedorov's younger brother and his dad had a pee-wee team running in front of his dodge viper. That was quite the experience..

So sorry that folks are having Carten securing issues.  Scott has moved to central Ohio and is trying very hard to find a source to do the water jet cutting for these sought after Carten's.  As soon as he finds a cutter he will again be back in Carten production.  If you know of a water jet cutter in the central Ohio area please email me and I will pass the word on  to him.  email me @ lakelewis@gmail.com  I feel your pain as far as wanting to move your small and mini's.  Thanks for your many nice comments about his Carten's.

BTW, our CARTen is a no-number also.  Ours was the first (before numbering started) Scott never anticipated this being big business.  We were in Texas visiting the family and purchased a small egg to travel in our fifth wheel with us.  When he realized the issue at hand; he put his mechanical engineering skills together and came up with this plan for us.  Because of the size of the aluminum that he had; he could fit two on it.  So that's what he did. So when he brought it to us at the campground I was so excited about it and the way it fit our egg and lifestyle; I posted the very first picture of a CARTen. Never did I anticipate the volume of interest it brought. Folks really seemed to like the concept and began ordering more and more and then wanted a CARTen for their mini's. CPARKTEX yours is one of the first editions. Hoping to find a source to cut more......
